... at least according to the government.

The government is issuing a "Lockdown subsidy" for all working citizens that were affected by the lock down (e.g. forced to not go to work for the past 2-3 weeks). So yeah. I checked. I'm not eligible because between 2020-2021, my salary has exceeded their threshold. My Sis is eligible though. Though the government seems to have forgotten that the affected are in 2022.

I'm not complaining though. I'm always of the camp where "expect the worst, be happy with the surprising better" is the motto. The lady who does the attendance is sorting out our annual leave and i think that maybe I will still have some leave time left (I have a lot of accumulated leave balance).

I've started the process of renewing my driver's license. I went to take ID photos today. Don't know how they will turn out. I'll see them tomorrow. I actually did have 3 ID photos, but I looked like a prisoner LOL so I decided to go take them again.

Have to find a clinic or a doctor to do the health check, but apparently at the usual clinic I go to, the rate is really expensive, but the government health centre is still not working. I'll check the staff clinic and see if they offer a discount or not. Then the appointment to submit the application is on Friday.

I was in a lot of stress today because my Boss again had some ad-hoc thing that I had to perform miracles for. I was really stressed because I wasn't sure if I could do it, and also because of the time constraint (time difference & early for the other party... wasn't sure if I had given enough notice or not). In the end, I managed, so that was one worry out... so maybe that's why I'm feeling so knackered this evening. So... I'm going to reward myself and skiv off for an hour or so from work to see another Chinese doctor or Chiropractor to see if there's anything else that can be done for my wrist. It's starting to really bother me.

Have you not considered physiotherapy for your wrist issue? Physio has helped me with so many body-part pain issues over the past 15 years -- from wrist/tennis elbow, to knee pain, to this major strain I got in my left hip/butt back in January -- I'd never consider going anywhere else.
