To preface: Halloween was never part of my culture in this part of the world. We know about Halloween, but trick or treating was never a thing. Maybe in more recent times they've probably brought this custom in, but mostly, trick or treating is not a thing. You can't necessarily go trick or treating in an apartment building, could you? I had been to 2 Halloween parties in the entirety of my life. One was at a night bar place that my bestie C had to host (from her University volunteer or community work thing), it was more a costume party, but I just went ther in regular clothes. That's my costume. "The regular human". The other was a... dog costume party thing that my Sis' workplace at the time (a pet grooming salon) was hosting. That's my experience with Halloween parties.

Not my culture.
3. What was one of your unspoken rules on Halloween?
I guess... still be respectful?
4. Did you ever win a Halloween costume contest?
Nah.
5. Does your neighborhood decorate?
Not a thing in this part of the world.

1. When did you last have to MacGyver something?
I had to check the link to know what it meant LOL. I can't think of anything that I had to "play the genius ball" 打天才波 as we would say in Cantonese. It's essentially just improvising with what you have on hand.
2. In what way were you spontaneous this week?
Yesterday, I decided to just randomly pop into the office of that side-project and gave the people a fright (meh). Also did the annual performance review of the staff. However, I will say that i was feeling uninspired but I also didn't wanted to be a bully, so I just asked that problematic staff if she has anything to say about the review sheet. She said no. I said there's still a lot for you to work on, and that's it. Signed off.
3. What have you recently completed at the last minute?
Hey, I'm pretty good with managing my work-related projects. It's my personal stuff that I procrastinate on, LOL.
4. How good are you at thinking up a quick lie?
I'd like to say pretty good, but usually they hardly hold up and I don't like lieing as I can't keep track of my lies so I usually just tell the truth. It's better that way.
5. What’s your personal time organizer system like?
I've tried a paper (booklet) scheduler and I hardly use it. That's why I've quit the Hobonichi obsession. I just buy those notebooks/schedulers but they never get used. I now rely heavily on my phone's calendar. It's synced so I can see it on my ipad, on my laptop and on my 2 phones. As my office system is restricted to only allow on-company-network devices to show up, I spend half and hour in the morning just manually inputting the work schedule into my personal phone as well. I never have a problem with my own schedule as I tend to leave enough time between appointments for travel/contingency. It's my Boss' calendar that I'm always baffled with. I've tried to schedule his stuff like I schedule my stuff but he doesn't like it. He likes to see it all filled up back-to-back (buthe'salwayslateforeverythingbuthe'sthebosssonoonecomplains).
