Valentine’s Singles Karaoke and other stuff

elusivekI... don't understand LOL. I arranged that karaoke thing, we were a decent group of 12 people. I only went after class so they were already there when I arrived. I asked the staff what was ordered, and I saw it was 2 French fries and 2 pizzas. There were 2 tables in our room, so I assumed they were going to share. I ordered 2 portions of shrimp cakes.
When the food arrived, I was trying to distribute food between the two tables, but one lady was like "No! Both are for us!" And they each took a tray of fries. When my shrimp cakes arrived, they were all like "what is this? We didn't order this!?" Okay? This is for everyone to eat? Finger food sharing? Ever heard of it?
They told me to choose a couple of songs, but I declined. They were already hyper with their Green Day's and I don't know who else. Someone chose Michael Jackson's Thriller and it's a commitment going through that. I didn't want to choose a Japanese song that nobody knows and then kill the mood.
Heck, someone picked the song All I want for Christmas.
Someone picked.... Vengabus? And some other super old songs.... Oasis, ABBA... basically really old stuff LOL.
It's Saturday so I went to the workshop and work on my cats... and in the morning a pottery throwing course. Had to trim all my nails really short. I had some gel nails that I didn't have time to get to the parlor to remove it. So I'm just going to let them grow out and then fix as I go.
After lunch, we went back to the workshop but this time not for the wheel, but my regular stuff.
Later at night went to get dinner with friends at the coconut chicken place.
And the cats looking cute.
