Anima Adoption Day

Anima, the "western" (or, "Portuguese") no-kill dog/cat shelter, held one of their adoption days today. I've been meaning to visit, but the event always clashed against something on my schedule.

And I managed a visit today :-D

All the animals have really sad stories, but yet they are all so sweet!

After hanging around for some time, I was meaning to leave, when I spotted these!

The usual people walk their dogs. This guy does this with more flair: he walks his turtles!

I also filled in a form and told the girl to assign me to any god-dog they have, that might not have a chance to be adopted. She gave me Leg-leg, a 3-legged mongrel. I've seen the pretty boy a couple weeks ago already, and I guess it's fate that the girl picked this dog for me. The dog wasn't there so he doesn't know this yet, but when the girl showed me his photo I recognized that face immediately!

Sponsoring a dog is something I could afford, so I'm doing it! Now I just need to reserve some weekends to go see him :-D

Hopping over to china again

Going to pick up my framed painting... As its Monday I'm hoping the immigration isn't packed on the passport lane. My first hurdle is to get into the packed public bus though!
