1) Pick one of your favorite movies: what is the title?
This week's questions are not quite for me as I'm not big into movies. But my favorite movie ever I suppose is the Japanese movie Departures おくりびと

2) When and where and with whom did you first see it?
I think I watched it alone in the oldest cinema in town. I figured it was an unknown genre and I would just watch that in the oldest cinema (thus the cheapest). It became instantly my favorite movie.

3) What about the movie makes it one of your favorites?
The topic, the theme, the music.

4) If you've watched this movie since the pandemic quarantine started, how did it make you feel?
I didn't watch this again since the pandemic though. I think I watched it one more time when it was shown on the TV a few years later. But I constantly listen to the soundtrack.

5) If this movie was remade, who would you cast for the five main characters and why?
I'm not much for movie remakes and whatnot, if it were remade, I probably wouldn't watch it again because, I've already watched the movie, I know the basis, I don't need to watch a remake of the same topic, same storyline.

Reading and Goodreads and all that

Hm.... I'm trying to MAKE myself read more.

So... well, I saw that unbound_ophelia is in an LJ reading community thestoryinside, I'm apparently also in there but I just never paid attention to it. I'm thinking of participating next month in May, since I'm too late for April already.

Anyway, apparently I have to prepare a to-read list. So... I spent quite a lot of time today combing through my Kindle library, and I have so many books that I don't know where to start. I have also collected a number of questionable titles over the years LOL. Most books I believe were acquired when they were free (I studiously studied those "free today!" newsletters). By the time I finished with the Kindle books, I also looked up my shelf and found a few books that could go into the list too.

I wonder if the link works this way though, I need to go on another computer or tablet that is not logged in to my Goodreads account and try the link.
